Serious car accident in Loving County leaves 4 injured and 6 dead

Odessa, TX — On Monday, May 30th, 2022, a two-vehicle crash occurred in Loving County, killing six people.

The incident occurred when a Toyota Tundra pickup truck failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection and collided with a Ford car.

According to shared information, the people who perished in this car accident were Leoncio Tavera-Trejo, 37 years old, originally from Burley, Idaho, Marco Antonio Tavera-Trejo, originally from Mexico, Ernesto Lugo, 61 years old, Efrain Cruz-Camacho, 34 years old, a native from Llano, Texas, Christopher Villareal, 27 years old, from Del Rio Texas, and Alejandro Diaz, 64 years old, from El Paso Texas.

José Luis Lugo-González, 20 years old, from Mexico, who was driving the Tundra, was taken to University Medical Center in Lubbock with serious injuries. Yadira López-Sauceda, 21 years old, also from Mexico, who was in the Tundra, was received at the Medical Center Hospital with significant injuries.
